VEGA Navigator for infant traumatology surgery
A customized planning, navigation and medical instrumentation system for infant traumatology.
With our surgical planning and navigation system we have reached historial milestones including the first ever medial patellofemoral ligament reconstruction surgery on an infantwith surgical navigation and customized medical instrumentation.
The surgery was performed by Dr Juan José López Martínez who used the virtual reality and augmented reality VEGA Surgical Navigator to guarantee EXCELLENCE IN SURGERY.
Our surgical planning and navigation system with phantoms and specific, navigable medical instrumentation for infant traumatology delivers the necessary tools so that surgeons can prepare and perform surgery with greater ease and assurance. Suitably-positioned tunnels can be generated to protect the physis (growth cartilage) in bone growth during infancy.
